Firelight Homegrown Season 2

Gabrielle Fa'ai'uaso of Fale Film and John Falaniko Patu of Samoana Media were chosen as recipients of Firelight and PBS's short film anthology, Homegrown Season Two. 

Their project, tentatively titled "Not a U.S. Citizen" looks at the debate between citizenship in American Samoa, the only U.S. territory in which residents are not automatically born as U.S. citizens.
